Refund policy
This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to purchases made through Shauna O'Boyle Art, showcasing artwork by Shauna O'Boyle.
Made-to-Order & Print-on-Demand Artwork
All prints and artworks sold through Shauna O'Boyle Art are made to order and printed on demand. Many pieces are also hand-finished, embellished, framed or created specifically for each order.
Because of the bespoke, made-to-order nature of our work, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds for:
- Change of mind
- Incorrect size selection
- Colour preference
- Personal taste
This does not affect your statutory rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods.
Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order carefully upon delivery.
If your artwork arrives:
- damaged,
- faulty,
- incomplete, or
- incorrect,
please contact us within 10 days of receiving your order, so that we can assess the issue and make it right.

Where appropriate, we may offer a repair, replacement or refund, depending on the nature of the issue.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable, unless they arrive damaged or faulty:
- All prints (printed on demand)
- Hand-painted or embellished artwork
- Framed artwork
- Commissioned or bespoke piece
Exchanges
Once an order has been sent to production or dispatched, it cannot be exchanged.
If you place an order and wish to make a change before production has begun, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will do our best to accommodate changes only where materials have not yet been ordered or work has not yet started.
Commissioned Artwork
For commissioned pieces, cancellation terms are as follows:
If a commission is cancelled after the artwork has been completed, Shauna O'Boyle of Shauna O'Boyle Art reserves the right to retain up to 50% of the total commission value, depending on the stage of the project at the time of cancellation.
Any cancellation charges will be assessed fairly and proportionately.
Refunds (Where Applicable)
If a return is approved due to damage or fault:
- We will notify you once the item has been received and inspected.
- Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
- Please allow time for your bank or card provider to process the refund.
